Pendry Chicago appointed Simon Firmin as director of sales and marketing. With over 16 years of experience, he has worked with Beemok Hospitality Collection as director of sales and marketing, specifically working with The Charleston Place Hotel. He also worked with Four Seasons Hotel Chi- cago, The Ritz-Carlton, Chicago and Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts, Americas. Montage Deer Valley has hired Gretchen Walker as direc- tor of sales & marketing. This industry veteran has over three decades of experience. She last worked with The Ritz-Carl- ton Bacara in Santa Barbara, California and, before that, she worked as director of sales and marketing at Hotel Talisa in Vail, Colorado. The Reno-Sparks Convention and Visitors Authority has hired John McGinnes as vice president of sales. This industry veteran brings his three decades of experience to this new position. He previously worked for the Atlantis Casino Resort Spa as executive director of sales. Hilton Baltimore Inner Harbor has appointed Jennifer Blymier as their new director of sales and market- ing. Blymier has over three decades of experience, working for Omni Bedford Springs Resort in Pennsylvania and various Hilton, Marriott International and Kimpton Hotels properties. The Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa Avon, Vail Valley has promoted Jing Butler as director of sales. She has worked with the resort for more than 12 years in various roles.
