Clements has been with Louisville Tourism since 2021. In her new position, she will be the lead for the sales department's administrative team and will continue to offer support to others. She previously worked with Main Event Entertainment. The Westin Cape Coral Resort at Marina Village appointed Jennifer Trapani as director of sales and marketing. Trapani has spent 27 years working with Marriott International. She worked her way up from restaurant manager to working in sales and marketing in leadership roles. She most recently was director of group sales for the Renaissance Wash- ington DC hotel. Sonesta Hotels announced that it has brought in Kevin Kelly as their area director of sales and marketing. Kelly has more than three decades of experience. He most recently worked at the Radisson Blu Aqua Hotel as director of sales and marketing. In this role, he will work with Sonesta’s Chi- cago full-service properties. The Amelia Island Convention & Visitors Bureau has hired Paul Beirnes as their vice president. Prior to this role, this industry veteran was the executive director of the Naples, Marco Island, Everglades CVB. Before that he was worked with Hilton Worldwide, Visit Orlando and in the marketing division of The Walt Disney Company. KSL Resorts has brought Frank Rodgers on board as global sales director. With more than a decade of experi- ence, he most recently worked for the Waldorf Astoria's Grand Wailea Maui resort. He also worked with Arizona Biltmore, Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills, Highgate Hawaii Hotels, The Royal Hawaiian, Sheraton Waikiki and Starwood Resorts of Waikiki. The Ritz-Carlton, Half Moon Bay hired Rosie Karakan as their director of sales and marketing. Karakan has worked with The Ritz-Carlton before in Dearborn, MI; Tysons Corner, VA and at the corporate office in Chevy Chase, MD. She also worked with multiple hotels in Los Angeles throughout her more than two decades in the industry. The Dayton Convention & Visitors Bureau has brought Kim Addis on board as their director of sales and services. While working in the industry for 16 years, she has worked with Marriott and Hilton properties in Columbus, OH and Nashville, TN, and assisted in opening an upcoming hotel in Dayton, OH. The Statler, a Curio Collection by Hilton hotel hired Sta- cey Jackson as director of sales. With more than 20 years experience, she most recently worked with Hilton Richard- son Dallas.
