Lotte Hotel Seattle has hired Ian Ring as director of sales & marketing. The industry veteran has more than 20 years expe- rience working with Hyatt Hotels. He also helped to launch an outdoor hotel outlet called Dock & Drink and Frolick Kitchen & Cocktails, Washington’s first rooftop street curling rink. The Driskill has hired Adreanne Lewis as director of sales, events and marketing. Lewis, who has been in the industry for more than a decade, has also worked in other locations, such as Fairmont Austin, Fairmont Olympic and Pan Pacific Seattle. Now, she will be managing sales and meeting spaces for confer- ences and events at the 137-year-old hotel. The Ballantyne, A Luxury Collection Hotel, Charlotte has hired Kasey Conner as director of sales and marketing. With 17 years of experience, Conner has worked for several hotels, including the Nines, A Luxury Collection Hotel, in Portland, OR; for Remington Hotels in Key West, FL, as well as for Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide in Key West, FL. Hyatt Regency Lake Washington at Seattle’s Southport hired Melissa Woodley as director of sales, marketing & events. Woodley, who has more than 15 years experience, also has worked for Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort, Spa and Casino and Resort at Squaw Creek, as well as Hyatt in Lake Tahoe, Maui and San Diego, among others. The Hutton Group – Inspired Meetings & Events, a woman- owned and operated boutique company specializing in meeting planning, site selection and destination management, has hired Andrea Milrad Heilweil as vice president of sales and marketing. She has spent the last two decades with HelmsBricoe as senior director of global accounts based in Boca Raton, FL. Visit Seattle hired Chris Connelly as senior director of sales. In the industry for 11 years, Connelly has worked for many Hyatt properties in Chicago, San Francisco and San Diego. Most recently, he was the area director of group & transient sales at Hyatt’s three downtown Seattle locations: the Hyatt Regency, the Grand Hyatt and Hyatt Olive 8. The Georgia International Convention Center has promoted Darcel Ivey to senior sales manager. Ivey joined the GICC team in 1998. Before that, she worked with the Embassy Suites Atlanta Airport team for more than seven years, achieving mul- tiple promotion advancements from administrative assistant to sales manager. Louisville Tourism has hired Rebekah Courtney as conven- tion sales manager. Courtney was most recently in a special events and promotions supervisor role for Caesars Southern Indiana. Courtney will be responsible for selling Louisville to groups utilizing 300 peak night hotel rooms or less for the edu- cation, culture, health/medical, scientific/engineering and labor union segments. The Hyatt Regency Aurora Denver Conference Center has hired Abby Nurre as director of sales & marketing.
