< PreviousNEW ORLEANS & COMPANY N ew Orleans is known for cultural richness, unmatched cuisine and world-class live entertainment. The city and New Orleans & Company are also known for executing logistically complex events with a high level of success and hospitality unlike anywhere else. EXCELLENCE IN EXECUTION New Orleans offers a unique brand of hospitality. From intimate, specialized meetings to large, complex events, New Orleans is a premier destination, able to accommo- date groups of all sizes. New Orleans has transformed how to meet the demands of planners and groups by infusing hospitality and pairing cultural experiences into the specific needs of each meeting. New Orleans is Built to Host meetings that prioritize innovation and build partnerships and networking, all while doing business. INNOVATION & DEVELOPMENT Ongoing develop- ments across the city have raised the bar for meeting and convention offerings. New and enhanced venues, such as the recently opened Vue Orleans, a culturally immersive attrac- tion with 360-de- gree views atop the newly opened Four Seasons Hotel + Residences, and the expansion of the National WWII Museum have changed the city skyline. The investment of global, luxury and lifestyle hotel brands, such as the Four Seasons Hotel + Residences, The Virgin Hotels and Caesars Entertainment, under- scores New Orleans as the place to do business. SUSTAINABLE MEETING FACILITY The New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center (NOENMCC) has just completed one of the largest en- ergy-saving initiatives ever attempted in the region. The project included an overhaul of the facility’s lighting, re- placing more than 4,000 light fixtures with LED’s and retrofitting 2,000 light fixtures throughout the offices, corridors and stairwells. and a rebuild of the heating and HVAC systems with a new control room and operations center. NOENMCC also replaced four 1,200-ton water- cooled chillers with new high-efficiency systems, in- stalled more than 60 energy-efficient water bottle-filling stations and upgraded 36 restrooms with low-flow fix- tures, making the facility significantly more sustainable. FOOD & MUSIC It is the passion of the community and local businesses that help us build a premier destination for meetings. The local food and music take center stage when people reference some of their best memories of New Orleans. Food and music are two essential components to how we infuse hospitality and culture in every aspect of the group experience. Meeting spaces are filled with new fla- vors inspired by family traditions from well-known eater- ies that spark networking around the table, and special experiences are steeped in every step. The hospitality community’s commitment to innovat- ing and elevating the meeting experience is why New Orleans is Built To Host. | AC&F | 2020 ST.
