The Ritz-Carlton, Naples marked a major milestone in the resort’s dramatic transformation as property and community leaders gathered to celebrate the next chapter in the iconic resort’s celebrated history. Upon completion in December 2022, the resort will offer more than 90 suites, bringing the resort’s inventory to 474 guestrooms and suites. In addition to the new tower, the resort will also debut a full renovation of all accommodations, an expansive Ritz-Carlton Club Lounge featuring ocean views, three new culinary and beverage concepts, a fully revamped spa experience, as well as new bungalows and cabanas to complement the resort’s three new pool areas.
“This is a defining moment for The Ritz-Carlton, Naples. As we honor the legacy of the resort’s nearly four decades on Florida’s Paradise Coast, we set our sights on providing the finest services and facilities for our guests in the next chapter for this iconic property,” said Mark Ferland, Area General Manager of The Ritz-Carlton Resorts of Naples. “As the needs and desires of today’s traveler have evolved, we look forward to continuing to exceed our guest’s expectations through sophisticated design elements, globally-inspired culinary themes, amplified guest experiences, and the unparalleled service provided by our Ladies and Gentlemen.”
Architect Cooper Carry, project manager Hardy Group, and design firm Parker Torres Design collaborated to create a design that exudes casual elegance and a timelessness that honors the resort’s legacy with sleek elements that usher The Ritz-Carlton, Naples into a new era. Interiors will evoke glamour and sophistication, borrowing timeless cues that pay homage to the journey of travel. More spacious layouts in both guestrooms and public spaces provide further options for families, groups and extended stays.
Within the resort’s newest tower, an all-new Ritz-Carlton Club Lounge will be unlike any other in the brand, spanning 4,000 square-feet with dramatic floor-to-ceiling ocean views and an exclusive cocktail bar, as well as new concepts and engaging experiences that enliven the all-new space. Executive Chef Satish Yerramilli will debut Sofra, a new vegetable-forward restaurant featuring Eastern Mediterranean cuisines. Drawing its name from the region’s shared tables, Sofra offers shareable, flavorful plates featuring wholesome ingredients and authentic spices.
Steps from the new tower will be a newly reimagined poolside experience, featuring a resort pool for families, an adult pool, children’s pool, hot tubs, and a lap pool for sun-soaked days along the Gulf of Mexico. Ten fully-enclosed bungalows with cascading doors will provide the ultimate in poolside comfort and luxury, each air conditioned with their own private bath, television and entertainment system, service bar for refreshments, and more. Additionally, ten cabanas will be added to the pool area, each with plush seating, ceiling fans, and televisions, serving as a luxurious home base for outdoor relaxation.
The Ritz-Carlton, Naples Spa, which completed its transformation in January 2022, provides a glimpse of what is to come throughout the remainder of the resort later this year. A full redesign of the 51,000 square-foot luxury spa provides a sense of place, with light coastal hues reflective of the seaside destination throughout. The serene and welcoming palette complements the renowned treatments and therapies that utilize local herbs and botanicals for an immersive and invigorating experience.
