Sheraton Hotels & Resorts and Pyramid Hotel Group announced October 21 the completion of an extensive $15 million-dollar renovation of the Sheraton Pittsburgh at Station Square. The complete redesign features 399 transformed guest rooms including 21 suites as well as the hotel’s lobby, meeting space and Trackside Restaurant.
Guest rooms and suites have been modernized to include new furniture, wall covering, carpeting and in-room guest safes. All guest rooms offer the all-white Sheraton Sweet Sleeper bed, designed to meet AAA’s Five Diamond Award criteria as well as upgraded decorative lighting and refrigerators. Views from the guest rooms feature stunning views of Pittsburgh’s skyline, the Monongahela River or historic Mount Washington as the focal point.
The full lobby redesign includes new carpet, wall covering, lighting and furniture upgrades. The refreshed Trackside Restaurant, the hotel’s dining venue, offers casual dining in a comfortable setting. The hotel updated more than 30,000 sf of indoor/outdoor meeting space, which now features new wall and ceiling upgrades, carpet and lighting. The centerpiece of the meeting space renovation is the 9,750-sf ballroom.
At the heart of the transformed lobby, guests will enjoy the signature Link@Sheraton experienced with Microsoft — a relaxed space with complimentary wireless broadband where guests can socialize and network. All guest rooms have an oversized work desk, ergonomic chair, high-speed Internet and 32-inch, flat-panel television. Sheraton Club guests enjoy upgraded amenities, as well as complimentary breakfast, beverages and evening hors d’oeuvres in the Sheraton Club Lounge.
Sheraton Pittsburgh at Station Square is conveniently located at 300 W. Station Square Drive, in the heart of the Station Square business and entertainment district. The hotel is adjacent to 20 restaurants within the Shops at Station Square, Bessemer Court and the Gateway Clipper Riverboat fleet.
