The Houston Airport Marriott at George Bush Intercontinental recently completed a multimillion-dollar renovation of the 573-room hotel. Located inside the airport grounds, the final phase of the total renovation was completed in January, and the grand reopening ribbon-cutting ceremony was held January 12, 2016. The hotel’s 34 meeting rooms and 30,000 sf of total meeting space, all guest rooms and common areas were refinished with new furnishings, carpet and wall covering and feature the latest in technology.
Technology upgrades for all meeting rooms, top-notch catering and exceptional guest service guarantees a first-class experience for everyone. A new all-day restaurant, Flights Lounge & Grill, was added along with a full-service lounge bar. The lobby area features Marriott’s “Great Room” design concept that creates different areas for small one-on-one meetings, group gatherings to talk and space for more social meetings with dining/beverage service.
