Georgia World Congress Center stakeholders and IPPE celebrate the official ceremonial opening of Exhibit Hall BC.
Planning large conventions requires a large amount of space, and Atlanta has you covered with more than 1 million square feet of contiguous exhibit space.
After much anticipation, Georgia World Congress Center (GWCC) opens Exhibit Hall BC, a major component of the convention center’s 2020 Vision Plan and first expansion since 2002. Dare to ask why this is a milestone for the congress center? Exhibit Hall BC makes GWCC one of only a handful of convention centers offering this much space. The $55 million project utilized 1,400 tons of steel and 6,850 cubic yards of concrete to create the new space.
Exhibit Hall BC continues to position Atlanta as a premiere convention destination offering the finest amenities to meeting planners. The exhibit space allows the city to compete for and host some of the largest conventions throughout the world.
With more than 20 events already committing to use the space and bookings spanning into 2030, meeting planners will see crystal clear why Atlanta is the ultimate meetings destination.
