The Greater Boston Convention & Visitors Bureau (GBCVB) has announced a First Quarter meetings promotion to entice new groups to book at Boston and Cambridge hotels. With this incentive program, which applies to any new meeting that actualizes at least 10 rooms on peak and is set to occur before April 15, 2022, participating hotels will offer a 10% discount on the master bill and a 10% discount on all rooms booked within the official group block.
“The First Quarter is historically challenging in New England for group business, even more so with the impact of the global pandemic,” said GBCVB President & CEO Martha J. Sheridan. “However, we know what protocols and practices work to execute meetings safely and successfully, and now we are providing further incentive for clients and planners to book Boston this winter.”
Boston offers an array of unique seasonal experiences to further enhance a winter meeting, from igloos and ice-skating, to cozy fireside fun and festive neighborhood affairs. Special culinary events, such as Dine Out Boston and the Boston Wine & Food Festival, complement a packed sports schedule at TD Garden, St. Patrick’s Day celebrations and innovative art exhibitions showcasing the work of Van Gogh, Banksy and Kahlo. Boston is also a special destination to celebrate Black History Month programming in February and Women’s History Month events in March.
