fontainebleau_121616_12009-400Fontainebleau Miami Beach announced recent resort updates, which include a new design in the Versailles Tower and renovations to the hotel’s existing poolside cabanas.

“At Fontainebleau, we are committed to focusing on ways to improve our guest’s experiences while upholding a fresh, luxurious look,” said Philip Goldfarb, President & COO at Fontainebleau. “Working with our design partners, Jeffrey Beers International LLC and Clausen-Collaborative Interior Design, allows us to elevate the standards of luxury, while staying true to our original vision — these firms continuously prove that they understand Fontainebleau’s brand and we are thrilled to unveil these renovations to our guests.”

Versailles Tower
Following a light and airy design theme, the Jeffery Beers International team updated the existing Versailles Bay View Junior Suites to meet the same redefined luxury of the building’s original architecture. Additionally, designers worked with Fontainebleau to curate two entirely new room categories known as the Executive One Bedroom Suite and the Grand One Bedroom Suite, ideal for hosting intimate gatherings. Throughout the redesign, guests can expect to experience a residential approach to luxury hospitality with design elements including polished metal accents, an elegant, geometrical headboard, custom nightstands with integrated power for ease of charging electronic devices and custom vintage inspired nightstand lamps.

In select suites, the Jeffery Beers team has incorporated elevated design elements including a Jonathan Adler chandelier, black and white, hand-sketched artwork from Fontainebleau Miami Beach’s architect, Morris Lapidus, custom upholstered panels with metal accents throughout living and dining spaces, entry wallcovering inspired by the iconic bowtie lobby floor, and new walk-in closets.

Standout suites include:

Executive One Bedroom Suite: The all-new, Executive One Bedroom Suite, is an idyllic venue for hosting intimate parties or special occasions. Guests can enjoy 270-degree-views of the Atlantic Ocean and Biscayne Bay. A separate bedroom features a master bath with an oversized jetted tub and glass-enclosed shower. The adjoining extra-large parlor comes equipped with a wet bar, dining table, relaxing sofa and a second half bath.

Grand One Bedroom Suite: These Miami Beach suites boast some of the largest square footage around. Guests and their invitees are able to marvel at the picturesque view, while enjoying the space and style of the suite’s main room. Hosting is made easy with the suite’s wide range of amenities including the large dining room table, wet bar, 55-inch high-definition, flat-screen TVs and extra half bath. The secluded master bedroom features an oversized jet whirlpool tub and standalone shower.

The iconic property features more than 1,500 rooms, suites and penthouses on 20 acres of oceanfront land and includes four luxury towers. Complementing the resort’s two original towers, Chateau and Versailles, the all-suite Trésor and Sorrento towers offer a combined 750 junior, one- and two-bedroom suites.

Poolside Cabanas
Fontainebleau Miami Beach worked with Clausen-Collaborative Interior Design (CCID), the firm who remodeled the resort’s presidential suites, on its poolside cabana renovation to optimize the flexibility and privacy of all of the 33 luxurious guest retreats. Through the addition of warm-slatted wood panels and sleek custom furniture, guests can now enjoy lounging under the shaded breeze of modern Haiku ceiling fans, complimented by the crisp contemporary lines of new sofas and love seats. Each cabana is equipped with an upgraded flat-screen television, wireless internet, butler service, mini refrigerator, phone and digital safe able to store a laptop or other valuables.
