When we think of our favorite places and reflect on all the things that make those places so special to us, the senses take over. When you think of New Orleans, it’s easy to imagine being there. The smell of beignets and coffee in morning, the sounds of music on nearly every corner and the sights of the beautiful architecture and incredible museums come to mind. On April 25th, New Orleans musicians will come together for The Band Together Benefit, a virtual festival organized to showcase some of New Orleans’ superstar talent while simultaneously providing a platform to support the less established, up-and-coming musicians. This streaming event, taking place on the original first Saturday of Jazz Fest, is an opportunity for musicians, the community and New Orleans lovers to band together.
