Situated directly across the street from the Los Angeles Convention Center, Moxy & AC Hotel DTLA is the newest hotel on the block, offering the ability to work, stay, and play. The colossal 37-story property features 727 bedrooms across the two renowned hotel brands – 380 rooms at Moxy DTLA and 347 rooms at AC Hotel DTLA. The property provides approximately 45,000 square feet of flexible meeting and event space, suitable for conferences, workshops, and any other event imaginable. Additionally, there are 12 bar and restaurant concepts, including eight unique restaurants, bars, and nightlife venues at the newly opened Level 8, by hospitality visionaries Mark and Jonnie Houston.
On the 7th floor, one can find the expansive Main Event Space and the intimate Fig and Pico Boardrooms. The convenient access to Level 8 directly above enhances post-meeting moments with immersive dining and entertainment experiences. The option to combine both floors creates a quintessential special event or conference experience.
The Main Event Space is a versatile 4,000-square-foot hall perfect for conferences, banquets, weddings, and more. It can accommodate up to 420 guests. Modeled on a factory floor, the room is surrounded by 16-foot panels of steel and frosted glass that are backlit to resemble exterior walls lit by natural sunlight. The space can be divided in two, and furniture can be configured to suit different needs, accommodating up to 200 guests for banquets, 148 for classroom-style setups, 500 for receptions, and 420 for theater-style arrangements. The Main Events Space features an expansive Arrival Lounge, used as a reception area and for cocktail parties, and has corrugated metal and brick-clad walls that evoke the exterior of a factory. Custom lighting fixtures of wood and steel with LED pin lights create interesting shadows and bathe the space in a warm glow.
The Fig Boardroom offers an exclusive and elegant space for intimate events or breakout sessions. With 730 square feet, it can accommodate up to 22 seated and 50 standing. It features floor-to-ceiling walnut panels, custom light fixtures, and two long tables, providing a refined atmosphere and seamless connectivity for in-person and remote participants.
For breakout sessions or standalone events, The Pico Boardroom offers a sleek and sophisticated setting. Inspired by contemporary art galleries, it features white convex metal panels and custom light fixtures, creating a modern aesthetic. It provides a well-lit setting for lectures, conferences, and various activities. With 736 square feet of space, the Pico Boardroom comfortably seats 22 individuals or accommodates up to 50 standing guests.
The Moxy Meeting Studios, located on the mezzanine level of Moxy Downtown LA, provide versatile spaces for private meetings and celebrations. These studios are accessible to guests of both Moxy DTLA and AC Hotel DTLA and feature modular furniture and technicolor glass walls, which can be curtained off for privacy or combined for larger gatherings. With custom-designed furniture that transforms from boardroom to lounge seating and walls that fold back to combine both spaces, the studios are infinitely flexible, seamlessly transforming from a boardroom during the day to a lounge for cocktails at night. Each studio is 250 square feet, and when combined, they form a space of 500 square feet, with a seating capacity for 8 or 16 people and a standing capacity for 25 or 50 people, respectively.
Bar Moxy, which can accommodate up to 300 guests, and the adjacent Bluestone Lane Coffee Shop offer their unique charm. Meanwhile, on the 34th floor, AC Bar & Lounge welcomes guests to a hacienda-style haven, while La Lo La Rooftop beckons as a breathtaking outdoor sanctuary, boasting a panoramic 270-degree view of the Hollywood Hills and beyond. The adaptable furniture allows for the rooftop to transform into a multifunctional and versatile area, and it is available for both partial or full buyout capacity of 250 guests.
