The DMC Network has announced that five of their partner DMCs were recognized at this year’s ADMEI Awards Gala. The 2022 Award Ceremony and Gala Dinner took place on the final evening of ADMEI’s Annual Conference, held February 24-26 in Boston, Massachussetts.
DMC Network partners collected a variety of accolades, including the following:
“Each year’s ADMEI Awards program is cause for celebration, with so many fantastic accomplishments to cheer on,” said Aoife Delaney, CIS, CITP, the Vice President of Business Development for the DMC Network. “This year it felt particularly special, as we were able to once again celebrate these accomplishments in-person. It was a truly wonderful way to kickstart the year.”
ADMEI also gave a special nod this year to David Freeman, DMCP, CMP. David, the president of Accent on Cincinnati and a longtime DMC Network partner, was presented with a Hall of Fame & Lifetime Achievement recognition from ADMEI.
Commenting on his Hall of Fame recognition, David shared, “I was elated and humbled all in one instance. It is exciting to be honored by my peers of 36 years.”
Another memorable moment from this year’s ADMEI Conference, which brought together over 100 global DMC professionals and colleagues, including 26 DMC Network partners, was the opportunity to celebrate Lorenzo Pignatti’s 2021 ADMEI presidency. Pignatti, who also serves as a DMC Network board member, showed truly amazing leadership during such a massively difficult time for the industry.
Overall, this year’s conference sent a strong, positive signal that the events industry is well-positioned for a solid year of growth, with much more to celebrate in the weeks and months ahead.
