Anaheim Marriott Renovates Fitness Center With Cutting-Edge Technology And Equipment For Today’s Workout Enthusiast
**Fitness Center Is Among The First For Marriott Hotels To Feature A High Intensity Interval Training Zone With Turf**
ANAHEIM, CA (February 4, 2020) — There used to be a time when hotel fitness centers were seen, but seldom used. Now with an increased focus on health and wellness, travelers have high expectations for workout experiences while on the road, and the newly renovated fitness center at Anaheim Marriott will definitely not disappoint. The Fitness Center renovation — which features a number of firsts in the industry — was implemented by Growth Fitness Design of Orange County, California.
The new fitness center features a number of firsts including:
Among the first in the Marriott Hotels brand to feature indoor turf designed for speed, agility training, and absorbing impact.
New 65-inch Wexer touchscreen on the fitness floor containing on-demand virtual content offering the latest trending workouts.
Custom-created SPARTAN race training video workouts available on the Wexer unit — these videos were exclusively made for Anaheim Marriott.
TRX training videos will also be available for the first time on the Wexer touch screen.
New Octane MT800 HIIT Trainer — Anaheim Marriott is the first hotel in North America to have this equipment.
Custom designed and built amenity station including Elkay bottle filling station
All of the equipment and technology in the upgraded fitness center is situated inside a completely redone space which provides a California contemporary modern vibe and features natural wood tones, modern white quartz countertops, and hits of blues found in the upholstery and artwork. The focal point of the center is an oversized custom backlit mural photographed at Orange County’s scenic and historic Crystal Cove State Park to provide a local sense of place. The fitness center offers guests outdoor views of lush foliage and palm trees.
