Oasis Hotels & Resorts — the leading all-inclusive vacation resort brand in the Mexican Caribbean — has unveiled a newly renovated meeting and events venue, Oasis Arena.

Located at Grand Oasis Cancun, the brand’s “Grandmaster of Fun” resort, Oasis Arena can accommodate groups of all sizes and interests and sets the stage for state-of-the-art MICE industry events.

Following an extensive construction and expansion project, Oasis Arena features nearly 22,000 sf of event space with a capacity of up to 2,500. The venue has been updated to feature the industry’s most modern light and sound technology to host stellar events with a variety of set-up options including exhibition, auditorium, cocktail and banquet seating among others. In addition to Oasis Arena, Oasis offers groups a variety of event spaces including outdoor deck areas, a beach club stage and more than 20,000 sf of oceanfront poolside terraces. Located adjacent to the arena, quietly set apart from the other meeting facilities, the Yucatan Salon provides attendees with a cinema-like ambience and retractable screen for films and multimedia shows.

Breakout rooms in the atrium area are fully equipped with AV technology, smart televisions and videoconferencing capabilities. An executive board room accommodates up to 20 executives for leadership or planning sessions in private, comfortable surroundings. Additional event salons including San Luis, Guadalajara, Merida, Queretaro and Monterrey, and a mezzanine area range in size from 3,300 sf to 7,000 sf and can accommodate 25 to 320 guests. A variety of incentives including complimentary rooms, private check-in and complimentary event room rentals are available based on group size.

“Oasis Hotels & Resorts is eager to serve as the backdrop for unforgettable meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions while also providing valued planners with the necessary infrastructure and personalized, dedicated support to bring the industry’s leading events to life,” said Jesus Almaguer, director of marketing and communications for Oasis Hotels & Resorts. “Coupled with the resort’s ‘Grandmaster of Fun’ personality offering exceptional entertainment, it is our hope that this resort becomes the go-to destination for group gatherings that combine professionalism and excitement.”

Each Oasis property has its own personality, and it’s no surprise why Grand Oasis Cancun has that nickname. In addition to live concerts, festivals and shows at Oasis Arena, the property has a robust nightly offering for guests including a variety of Vegas-style shows. The Red Circus offers guests dinner shows featuring dramatic, acrobatic performances that highlight Mayan culture and tell the story of Mexico. By the pool — stretching a quarter mile, making it Cancun’s longest — visitors can enjoy comedy skits and at the Beach Club they can dance the night away to live DJ sets. At the resort’s Kinky Night Club, adds spice to the adult experience with live burlesque cabaret performances.

The brand also recently unveiled Cancun’s first resort casino — Red Casino at Grand Oasis Cancun — where guests can try their hand at traditional tables offering games of black Jack, roulette and poker or try their luck at a variety of slot machines. The expansive casino stretches over two levels and is the prime setting to catch a big game with dedicated bar areas and large-screen televisions playing today’s most important match-ups 24 hours a day. Red Casino at Grand Oasis Cancun is operated by Urban Publicidad S.A. de C.V. and is not part of the property’s all-inclusive program.

Travelers can also stay at The Pyramid at Grand Oasis, a resort-within-a-resort concept that offers luxury accommodations and access to additional restaurants and bars, exclusive to Pyramid guests. This includes Benazuza, which features molecular gastronomy and is currently the highest-rated eatery in Cancun on TripAdvisor, as well as White Box Gastrobar, a tapas-style restaurant.
