Stretching across eight acres along the award-winning Seven Mile Beach, the 343-room Westin Grand Cayman Seven Mile Beach Resort & Spa this summer is embarking on a two-phase, floor-to-ceiling redesign of its lobby, public spaces, guest rooms and recreation areas.
Scheduled to be completed in December 2016, highlights of phase one include a completely redesigned, open and inviting lobby area that brings the outside in and showcases the resort’s location on the famed Seven Mile Beach. With raised ceilings, a bright, neutral refreshed color palate, and a reimagined Catboat lobby bar, guests will experience a more elevated arrival. Café Soleil, a preferred venue for busy travelers who enjoy on-the-go snacks and refreshments, will be transformed, expanded and relocated to a more convenient location. The resort’s freshwater swimming pool, fitness center and retail outlets also will be refreshed.
In 2017, Westin Grand Cayman will continue its transformation with the renovation of its guest rooms and suites, including a full bathroom remodel and additional public areas. These developments follow the resort’s 2012 enhancement and reinforce Westin Grand Cayman’s position as the preferred choice for meeting and event planners in the Caribbean.
Throughout the two-phase enhancement, groups will continue to enjoy an elevated experience, including 9,000sf of indoor and 40,000 sf of outdoor function spaces, a variety of corporate meeting amenities, and access to the Seven Mile Beach. In addition, guests will enjoy traditional and inventive Caribbean dishes at Ferdinand’s and Tortuga Beach Grill and Bar, as well as 24-hour in-room dining.
