Jill Estorino has been named executive vice president of Global Marketing and Sales today by Bob Chapek, chairman of Walt Disney Parks and Resorts (WDPR). Estorino replaces Leslie Ferraro who was named president of Disney Consumer Products in May.
In her new role, the 24-year Disney veteran will lead a global organization in developing marketing and sales strategies that help Walt Disney Parks and Resorts’ guests make magical memories that last a lifetime.
“It is important that Walt Disney Parks and Resorts has a marketing and sales leader who understands the magic that is part of every Disney experience we deliver around the world for our guests,” said Chapek. “Jill is a well-respected executive, and her depth of international experience makes her a terrific choice to continue the strategic and creative excellence of the Walt Disney Parks and Resorts’ Marketing & Sales teams worldwide.”
Estorino most recently served as the senior vice president, marketing and sales, Asia Pacific. In that role, she was accountable for integrating all marketing and sales activity for that important and growing region, in partnership with Hong Kong Disneyland and Shanghai Disney Resort site leaders. In addition, she represented Disney parks with the travel trade organizations in Asia Pacific and led marketing and sales teams in the development of strategies for each of the sites, as well as in spearheading incoming business from Asia to the domestic Disney parks in California and Florida. Prior to joining the team in Asia, Estorino was senior vice president, Marketing Strategy for Walt Disney Parks and Resorts’ domestic parks.
She began her career with the Disney sales and travel organization, working with the United States and international markets for the Walt Disney World Resort in 1991. After transitioning to the Consumer Marketing Division, she held roles of increasing responsibility for various businesses, including several brand management positions at the Walt Disney World Resort. Jill then was promoted into multiple senior level marketing roles at Walt Disney World, Disneyland Resort and Hong Kong Disneyland.
Estorino graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science degree. She will be relocating from Shanghai and transition into her new role over the next several weeks.
