For nearly 30 years, Stacey has held numerous positions within Caesars Entertainment. Straight out of college, she joined the company in 1991 as Executive Secretary to the Director of Catering and Convention Services at Caesars Palace. In her current leadership role, as Assistant Director of Sales, she uses her creative energy and spirit to lead a team of diverse sales managers while also overseeing the Nevada market. Stacey has been a top producer in revenue, contributor towards continuous improvement, and a driver of the sales culture for Caesars Entertainment. She recently earned the highly coveted seat in the distinguished Emperor’s Club; an award that goes to the top producer for the sales organization based on the high percentage to goal for the year.
Growing up in Kahului, Maui, Purcell knew that she wanted to pursue sales at an early age and was the top school fundraiser by selling cookies and pens door-to-door. Her “Ohana” (family) roots run deep in the hospitality industry as her father, a plumber by trade, built relationships and secured business with top hotels and resorts on the island. Stacey attributes her success to her father who is highly respected, leading by example and allowing her to build a solid foundation by starting from the bottom and working her way up through hard work, commitment and dedication.
