The last steel beam was lowered into place April 17 on French Lick Resort’s meeting space expansion signaling significant progress on the $15.5 million dollar project. When complete in January 2015, the Meeting & Event Center will be the largest hotel meeting space in the state of Indiana.
The 58,000-sf expansion, connecting the existing Event Center with the Valley Links Exhibition Center, will allow the resort to host large groups simultaneously while offering space for general sessions, breakouts and exhibitions. This addition to the existing 109,000 sf of event space offered at the four-diamond property will include the 34,000-sf expansion, a 22,000-sf adjustable ballroom and 27 different meeting venues. Groups will have access to nearly 163,500 sf of traditional, historic and unique venues and outdoor spaces resort-wide.

French Lick does not charge a resort fee. Additional offerings include complimentary Wi-Fi in guest rooms, public spaces and meeting rooms, and free valet parking.
